There are many ways to get involved that help the children of Guatemala.
What special skill have you been given that can be shared?
Everything we do touches education. If you are a teacher and have a passion for teaching there are things you can do.
Some of the activities teachers have participated in:
- Teach English (ESL)
- Train & encourage the teachers
- Bible classes
- Tutoring
Construction was a big part of our early years and we are grateful for the many teams that came and literally helped build the buildings.
Activities included:
- Laying block
- Pouring concrete
- Plumbing
- Electrical
Technology is a big help that enables us to do more. Using computers and new devices commands the attention of any student.
There is always a need to do more: Some of the ways we have been helped:
- Network administration
- Teaching apps
- Training on programs (Microsoft, Google, others)
- Computer repair
- Programming
- VR lab setup and use
- Remote camps using training on tablets and Chromebooks
The new clinic will need a great deal of help from medical team and skilled healthcare workers.
